The Slovak Boxing Federation is the national sports federation for boxing. It is a civic association joined voluntarily by people interested in the development of boxing in the Slovak Republic – as individual members, mostly organised in sports clubs or boxing sections, or as honorary members. SBF was founded in 1993 as the Slovak Boxing Union and is a member of the Slovak Olympic and Sports Committee, the International Boxing Association (IBA) and the European Boxing Confederation (EUBC). SBF is also a member of the international federation World Boxing and its European confederation, European Boxing.
